Production & Storage
Combining renewable energy with a hydrogen generator creates a low cost source of energy for the fuel cells. Solar PV is ideal but this can only work as long as there is sufficient daylight.
Adding a hydrogen storage facility prolongs the operational time of the fuel cell. Applying storage to solar-powered generation allows for continuous electricity production to be possible for scenarios where uninterrupted power availability is required. Hydrogen storage can also be vital for emergency power outages, where an instantaneous environmentally friendly alternative to traditional diesel generators is required.
